Wool Blend Rugs

Every rug here starts from the same family of fibres. Each rug blends wool with synthetic fibres, the wool in our rugs is New Zealand wool, and every rug’s page names the fibres in its own blend.

Choosing a wool blend rug

What sets them apart is colour and surface. Halcyon and Sunlit are pale and softly pebbled. Vesper keeps pale taupe between its even ivory rows, and Glint draws ivory lines through a warm, soft-gold ground. Daybreak is scattered with little flecks of oatmeal, while Dapple gathers full cream loops around flecks of warm sand and taupe.

Each one is tufted with a loop pile, and that is where its texture comes from: pebbled, corded or chunky, and soft underfoot whichever you choose. On every rug’s page, Find your fit lets you try it against your own sofa, bed or table before you decide.

Delivery is free, Australia-wide. Your rug leaves our Sydney warehouse rolled and wrapped, ready for a courier to bring to your door.

Which wool blend rugs can I buy here, and what is each one blended with?

Every rug here is Wool Blend. Each rug’s page shows the other fibres in its mix:

  • Halcyon and Vesper: blended with polyester
  • Glint: blended with nylon and polypropylene
  • Sunlit: blended with nylon
  • Daybreak: blended with nylon and polyester
  • Dapple: blended with polyester and nylon

Those fibres are there for less shedding and everyday durability.

Where is the wool in these rugs from?

New Zealand. The wool in our rugs is New Zealand wool, and each rug’s page tells you which synthetic fibres it is blended with.

Can I have one delivered anywhere in Australia, and how quickly?

Yes, and delivery is free wherever you live in Australia. Estimates count from the day your rug leaves our Sydney warehouse: 1–3 business days to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Canberra, 2–4 to Adelaide, 4–7 to Perth or Hobart, and 6–9 to Darwin. Order processing comes before that, and other regional or remote places may take longer.

Which one suits a living room, and will it fit mine?

Our current rugs are 200 × 300 cm. In a living room, try the front legs of your sofa and armchairs on the rug, so the seating reads as one group. Before you choose, mark out a 2 m × 3 m rectangle with masking tape, then walk around it and open the doors nearby. Our size guide has more on living rooms, bedrooms and dining tables.
